Inspired by the shape of egg, the Egg Collection Tea Set is designed for Taiwanese tea brand smith&hsu. Besides the contour of the design, the original concept is further developed to the selection of material and craftsmanship. The porcelain pot and cups are made of eggshell porcelain exclusively from Jing De Zhen, Jiangxi Province of China, which is renowned for its excessively thin body, high light transmission and exquisite quality. The oak saucer is hand-made by experienced craftsmen from Taichung of Taiwan. The warm and modest texture of the wood gives an interesting contrast to the smooth and fine white porcelain.
