DAS Drawings Included in Permanent Collection of SFMOMA

DAS' panoramic drawings of Tuan Jie Hu and Dashilar have been included in the permanent collection of  San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). SFMOMA was founded in 1935 as the first musuem dedicated to 20th century art in the west coast of the State. After a 3-year expansion construction and the re-opening in May 2016, SFMOMA has become the largest modern art musuem in America. Assorted in 4 collection categories - Painting + Sculture, Photography, Architecture + Design, and Media Arts, SFMOMA's collection includes works by world renowned artists like Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Alexander Calder, Sol LeWitt, Louise Bourgeois, Robert Rauschenberg, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Olafur Eliasson, and etc. Tuan Jie Hu and Dashilar are included in the Architecture + Design collection. SFMOMA is also the first museum on the west coast to have a collection specially for architecture and design works. The collection are formed by works from architects and designers around the world, e.g.  Lebbeus Woods, Zaha Hadid, Hugh Ferriss, Frank O. Gehry, Daniel Libeskind, Shiro Kuramata, Charles and Ray Eames, Dieter Rams, Yves Béhar, and etc.
