Li Han and Hu Yan Completed Teaching Spring 2026 Course at Syracuse Architecture NYC

The final review of the Spring 2026 course NYC: As Built, taught by Li Han and Hu Yan of DAS, was held on May 1, 2026, at the Syracuse Architecture’s New York City campus. The  course focused on selected elevated subway stations in New York City—their platforms, architecture, surrounding neighborhoods, and the informal spaces that have evolved around them—producing collective drawings that capture how these urban spaces operate, change, and contribute to everyday life.

Li Han and Hu Yan Completed Teaching Fall 2025 Course at Syracuse Architecture NYC

The final review of the Fall 2025 course NYC: As Built, taught by Li Han and Hu Yan of DAS, was held on December 12, 2025, at the Syracuse Architecture’s New York City campus. The course guided the students to work in an interdisciplinary method, combining drawing, model-making, photography, and narrative to visit the working and living spaces of everyday New Yorkers, and to explore how a city is shaped by daily life.
