New Book: Apartment Blossom by Li Han and Jin Qiuye

After Hutong Mushroom in 2018, Apartment Blossom, co-authored by Li Han and Jin Qiuye, is publised by Donghua University Press. As the second publication of Urban Studies Degree Zero Series, Apartment Blossom focuses on the diversified enclosed balconies of apartment buildings in Beijing and presents the balcony maquettes created by the students from the urban studies project led by the authors at Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. The book continues to discuss some alternative methods in urban studies and meaning of maquette making. Click here for more information about this project.

Lost in Melbourne Won ArchDaily's 2020 Architectural Visualization Award

Lost in Melbourne is the winner of the Conceptual (Jury) category of ArchDaily's 2020 Architectural Visualization Awards. As the outcome of a two-week intensive workshop at RMIT University in 2019, Lost in Melbourne is a collective drawing created by Li Han and Hu Yan from DAS, RMIT Architecture staff member Vicky Lam, and 22 RMIT University students. Li Han Participated in Archigram Cities Symposium

In November 2020, Li Han was invited to participate in Archigram Cities Symposium organized by M+ Museum in Hong Kong with Faculty of Architecture of the University of Hong Kong and Power Station of Art in Shanghai. He shared DAS' drawing practice in a series of online and offline events.
